JVW Girls School League is in its 5th year!

The JVW Girls High School League is in its fifth year and what an exciting year at that! The JVW Girls Football Development Structure which consists of a Girls High school League and Football Club was founded by Banyana Banyana Captain Janine van Wyk, who happens to wear the Jersey #5. Boasting 109 High School Teams, giving over 2000 girls opportunity to play in a competitive environment, the League has grown from strength to strength. Girls across Gauteng are now able to participate in football whilst still at school, and also work to take it to another level. With 16 Streams across U15, U17 and Open Age groups, womens football is most definitely proving to be on the rise. Reddam House Bedfordview will be looking to hold on to their title, JVW Schools League Open Champions, whilst other teams will be working hard to make sure they make the top two in their streams to qualify for Playoffs. The Playoffs will be held on the 24 & 25th September 2016 at Germiston Stadium.
