Our Young Diamonds head off to Italy

The O.R Tambo Soncini Social Cohesion Games start from the local level to the area level to the regional level through to the municipality level to the provincial level, with an international element attached to it.

The games were established to encourage a more organized sporting program from the ward level. This is to also help contribute to decreasing the social ills that plague communities such as drugs, teenage pregnancies and xenophobia.

It also contributes to having healthy communities that participate in sports activities.

The 2022 O.R Tambo Soncini Games were held at the Germiston Stadium on the 29th and 30th of October 2022, with athletes drawing in from across Gauteng.
